We grow our balsa in two world regions close to the equator, Ecuador and Papua New Guinea. Although thousands of hectares of our forest plantations are FSC® certified and compliant with strict forestry management regulations, our product BALTEK® SBC is the world's first carbon-neutral core material, sequestering more greenhouse gas (GHG) than those emitted during its production.
It is being used in the wind, automotive, and marine industries. All that with just one goal in mind - to make every aspect of our daily lives more eco-friendly. Besides that, there are many other benefits. Products made of our materials are much lighter, easier to process, and more sustainable!
