Thanks to being fully integrated with forestry on our FSC® certified plantations, our balsa supply chain remains stable and reliable for industrial customers worldwide.
We are happy to say that our plantations in Ecuador and Papua New Guinea have been FSC® certified for 10+ years, and compliant with official and demanding rules and regulations for sustainable forestry management. Our dedicated global teams professionally manage yearly audits. With our BALTEK® SBC, which is made exclusively from our plantations and is the only carbon-neutral core material in the world, we are the first supplier of core materials from 100% controlled, owned, and managed FSC® certified plantations.
